Questions

The details, made clear.

Why invest in professional photography?

Professional photography helps people understand who you are and what your business feels like before they ever speak to you. Strong, considered images build trust, create consistency across your website and marketing, and help your business present itself with more confidence.

Why might a business need more than one type of image?

Different images serve different purposes. A strong headshot may work well for LinkedIn, while your website may also need wider team photographs, workspace images, service details, behind-the-scenes moments and more natural brand imagery.

Creating a varied image library gives you more flexibility across your website, social media, press, presentations and marketing materials.

Can you photograph at my workplace?

Yes. Photographing at your workplace can make the images feel more personal and relevant to your business. I can work within offices, clinics, studios, shops, cafés and other commercial spaces.

Before the shoot, we will discuss the available light, space, background options and any practical arrangements needed on the day.

How long does a session take?

It depends on the type of shoot and the number of people or locations involved.

Individual headshot sessions are usually shorter, while personal branding and business photography sessions require more time for different setups, outfits and types of images. Once I understand what you need, I will recommend a session length that gives us enough time without making the day feel rushed.

Do you provide hair and makeup?

Hair and makeup are not included as standard, but I can help arrange a professional hair and makeup artist when needed.

This can be added to personal branding, headshot and commercial sessions. It is particularly useful when you want a more polished finish or need to keep everyone looking consistent throughout a longer shoot.

How far in advance should I book?

Booking a few weeks in advance is usually best, particularly for team shoots, events or sessions that require a specific location.

Some dates may be available at shorter notice, so it is still worth getting in touch. Larger commercial shoots may need more planning time for schedules, locations, styling and shot lists.

How do we plan for the shoot?

We begin with a conversation about your business, the purpose of the images and where they will be used.

From there, we can plan the location, timing, outfits, backgrounds, shot list and overall feel of the photography. For branding and business sessions, I may also ask about your website, brand colours and the different formats you need so we can create images that are genuinely useful afterwards.

When will I receive the images?

Your final gallery will usually be delivered within the timeframe agreed before the shoot.

Turnaround time depends on the size and type of project, but you will always know what to expect before booking. Faster delivery may also be available when images are needed for a launch, event, press feature or other deadline.
